About the film: After some careful consideration, Cissi and Lisa decide to enter at a competition. The challenge is to build a construction in sugar cubes, and the winner gets a prize of 1 million Swedish krona. At a restaurant they meet with a mermaid who has been separated from her lover. They help her get back into the sea. The mermaid plays a significant role in helping Lisa entering the competition. The musical performance is by the pop-punk band Valcano.
Peach Punch premiered in 2018, at Cissi Efraimsson’s graduation show at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. She is currently studying Experimental Animation at CalArts, Santa Clarita, USA.
Alongside film, she works with sculpture, and forms one half of the duo Vulcano.
